The most eagerly awaited surf competition of the year on the beach at La Marinedda.
A sensation-packed August at the La Marinedda bay at Isola Rossa. This beach in Northern Sardinia is one of the most sought after destinations by surfers from all over Europe for its beauty and its waves. The beach at La Marinedda has become synonymous with sporting excitement and lots of fun for young and old alike thanks to the many events that see new champions crowned every year.
Featuring some of the youngest competitors, the Nesos King of the Grommets competition ended Sunday, August 17, having enjoyed its second edition and valid as a stage of the Fisurf (Italian Surfing Federation) Italian Junior Championship.
Thanks to the efforts of the Nesos Surf Club, organizer of the event, young future surfing stars each in their respective category (under 12 – under 14 – under 16), competed among the waves that crash onto the beach at La Marinedda.
