Helichrysum (Elicriso in Italian) is the name of the flower that gives off the typical scent of the Mediterranean vegetation, which is the most common natural landscape in Sardinia.
It is no coincidence that this very plant gave its name to the Thalasso & Spa Centre at Hotel Marinedda, located in Isola Rossa. This centre is a haven of rest, dedicated to the care and well-being of the body and mind.
Its location is so cozy that makes you immediately feel at home, feeling at the same time, the constant embrace of the sun and the gentle wind.
Elicriso is the ideal place for a wellness holiday in North Sardinia: imagine a 2500 sqm space dedicated to Thalassotherapy where everything is conceived to create a magic and relaxing atmosphere. In this fantastic environment guests can just enjoy the peace and quiet and release the stress of the body thanks to the many treatments offered by the centre.
What makes the Elicriso SPA a unique place is the use of sea water for therapeutic and beauty purposes: following the procedures studied by Euripides and Ippocrite in ancient times, the waters of the Centre are rich in mineral salts and trace elements. Iodine air pervades the environment, and the seaweed and salty mud used for the treatments gently convey their beneficial properties.
Bathing in the waters of the pool is a rejuvenating experience for body and mind.
The pure water used for the treatments comes directly from the crystal clear sea that surrounds Northern Sardinia. The Strait of Bonifacio (between Sardinia and Corsica) is famous for its strong currents which keep the sea water in constant motion, and therefore rich in vital elements. The water comes from the open sea directly to the half-covered heated swimming pool with hydrojets.
Apart from the pool, the centre offers Turkish bath, sauna, cardiofitness machines, Jacuzzi and a Beauty Centre with highly qualified staff, a boutique and a doctor for medical consultations.
Just with a quick look to the packages offered by Elicriso SPA you will immediately notice that the offer was really designed to meet all tastes and needs, with special programmes for men and women, and also with treatmets dedicated to expecting women.
